VK – Vodka Kick
VK is the RTD vodka based drink for consumers who want to ‘Make a VKend of it’!
VK is produced by Global Brands; one of the UK’s leading drinks brand development businesses that owns, markets and distributes a range of brands across the spirit, beer, RTD and energy drinks categories.
What did we do?
We began to build up activity with daily conversation and competitions to drive engagement and sharing which in turn grew reach and likes.
Hooked into VK’s involved with Live Nation’s festivals to create content, giveaway tickets and generally talk about the nation’s love of festivals.
Worked with our media contacts to drive awareness through their social media channels asking them to post about our campaigns.
We generated news coverage at key periods for the brand such as the royal wedding and freshers week.
VK wanted a campaign that was truly about the product so we created What’s Your Flavour, a campaign to find a new variant VK fans would truly love.
To make the campaign truly sociable we built in a sampling campaign and PR support to generate coverage across key target media.
Over 250 flavour suggestions were submitted through Facebook, with 5K votes in total.
Facebook Likes increased from 2k to just over 8k in the time we worked with the brand.
The organic reach of the campaign peaked at nearly 250k people for a month with an average in December of 1,725 people sharing stories about VK to their networks, a massive increase compared to previous activity.
Approx 26k people saw content on our page as a result of a post by a friend which is the most authentic way to reach a new audience
Achieved 17,686 video views to the VK YouTube channel
